An Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary

Harbour Ridge proudly stands alongside the Audubon Society in a shared mission to conserve and restore natural ecosystems. Our dedication to this cause has been recognized with the prestigious Outstanding Florida Community Award, as well as the certification of both our golf courses as Audubon Cooperative Sanctuaries. These accolades underscore our commitment to preserving the habitats of wildlife within our 885-acre community.

From the onset, Harbour Ridge has embraced its role as stewards of the environment. When faced with the presence of a nesting pair of bald eagles, our founder, John Dodge, saw an opportunity rather than an obstacle. His visionary approach led to the dedication of over 28 acres as a habitat for these majestic birds. This ethos of mindful development and coexistence with nature continues to guide us today.

For nearly three decades, Harbour Ridge has served as a sanctuary for both golf enthusiasts and wildlife enthusiasts alike. Our unwavering commitment to nature preservation ensures that we remain a premier destination for those who seek to experience the beauty and harmony of Florida's natural landscapes for generations to come.
