Mike was born and raised just outside of Baltimore Maryland and graduated from Loyola University with a Bachelors degree in Economics. The next few years were spent as a personnel manager for a large corporation hiring counseling and working to correct payroll inequities particularly concerning Female employees.
After the purchase of his first home he decided that Real Estate was his true calling. During a long career as a successful Realtor and sales manager he participated in over 1500 transactions guiding both buyers and sellers through the often murky ins and outs of a Real estate transaction. And at the same time volunteering as both a coach and administrator for the local girls and boys club.
Six years ago Mike and his Wife Kathy decided that the lure of Florida’s treasure coast could not be resisted any longer. After settling in and seeing the lifestyle opportunities available Mike decided that it was time get back to helping others achieve the same satisfaction that he and Kathy had realized. They have four grown children all successful in their careers including a Vice President of Duke Energy and an Independent film producer.

Gwen and her late husband, Joe, became members of Harbour Ridge in 1985. During that time, they have owned six properties within the community. They were the “first” resale when they sold their Mile Lake condo after completion of their first home in Mariner Village. She likes to tell the story about there being “no 4-way stop” when they first became members!
As avid golfers, as well as boaters, Harbour Ridge could not have been a better destination. Their love for the community is confirmed by over 35-years as members.
After a successful Computer Software Training career, along with getting a private pilots’ license, Gwen received her State of Florida Real Estate Sales License in 2009. She has been active in listing and selling properties in both Martin and St. Lucie Counties, but has devoted most of her Real Estate career to Harbour Ridge.
I have been an active and successful Real Estate associate for the past 20 years. I believe one must have experience, knowledge of and a passionate desire in what one does to be successful. Being prepared and staying focused with a positive attitude is my daily goal. Years have taught me that being supportive of those I work with creates a strong and effective team. Albert Schweitzer stated that “Success is not the key to happiness- happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful”. I do love what I do, and I can say that I am happy and proud of my success to have served those who value my expertise.
My first business entrepreneur venture of 15 incredible years was Seventh Heaven, a full-service spa and fitness center which continues to do business today under new ownership with 30 years of ongoing success. Both businesses have been not only financially rewarding but have given me the opportunity and pleasure to assist and support my many clients’ needs. The ultimate reward of both businesses is the many people and friendships that have developed over the years.
I carry 4 real estate credentials, ABR, CRS, CMAS and GRI and am a member of the Martin County Realtors Association and the National Association of Realtors. I was born in Maine, rasied in Massachusetts and later in Alabama, and then finally on to an amazing life adventure in Colorado. I have two boys that graduated from Auburn University who are quite successful in their chosen careers and continue to make their Mother proud. Both found their ideal mates and I have two grandchildren, ages 6 and 3 and two grand-dogs who bring so much joy into all of our lives.
