Set on 885 beautifully wooded acres at the North Fork of the St. Lucie River, Harbour Ridge is a private yacht and country club community that celebrates its waterfront lifestyle. With its intimate community design and mature natural landscape, residents enjoy a carefree social lifestyle surrounded by the natural beauty of an amazing waterfront shoreline. But it’s not just the community’s unmatched connection with nature that makes this gated country club community unique. Here are some things you might not have known about Harbour Ridge.

1. 21 Years of Environmental Excellence

Winding through the area’s natural wetlands and surrounded by expansive water views, Harbour Ridge takes pride in the natural beauty that surrounds them and is committed to protecting Florida’s natural resources. The community’s two 18-hole championship golf courses prove this dedication, retaining their designation as a “Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary” since 2000. Endorsed by the USGA, Audubon International is the global leader in environmental stewardship certifications, recognizing golf courses worldwide for their sustainability efforts to protect and preserve the area’s natural heritage. Harbour Ridge has also been honored to receive the Outstanding Florida Community Award and is in the process of becoming an Audubon Certified Community.

2. Peter Burwash International Tennis Training Center

Harbour Ridge’s accolades, however, do not stop at the golf courses. With nine Har-Tru tennis courts and eight pickleball courts, their well-appointed tennis complex has also been awarded Tennis Facility of the Year in 2018 by the United States Tennis Association. Their Peter Burwash International-managed tennis program ensures residents of Harbour Ridge can receive instruction from staff that are a part of one of the best tennis programs in the world. A full-time team of highly-trained, specialized staff keeps the courts active with weekly socials, round-robin tournaments, and men’s and women’s tennis team competitions.

3. Private Water Shuttle to Downtown Stuart

Situated on the North Fork of the St. Lucie River, Harbour Ridge enjoys premier waterfront access, with three private marinas providing a combined total of 98 slips for boats up to 80 feet in length. With abundant waterfront dining opportunities on Florida’s Treasure Coast, Members can visit many of the area’s top restaurants by boat and enjoy cocktails while watching the sunset. The club’s private Water Shuttle ensures carefree travel, with a personal boat captain transporting residents from their homes to the vibrant Downtown Stuart area. Members relish the convenience of hopping onto the shuttle from the Clubhouse and leisurely cruising down the river to their dinner destination, without the worry of designating a driver.

4. A Friendly, Welcoming Community

While many people come to Harbour Ridge for the resort-style amenities or the stunning natural setting, what really sets this private club apart is the active, engaging, and overall fun-loving community Members have created. From cooking classes and daily “puppy play” time to dinner dances and live entertainment, Harbour Ridge’s full event calendar and wide range of special-interest clubs offer something for every lifestyle.

The Artisans share their appreciation for fine art, while Stitchery members enjoy needlepoint, crochet, and cross-stitching. Book lovers relish the Club’s several book clubs, while card players fill the Clubhouse with friendly games of bridge, poker, mah jongg, and more. Harbour Ridge Members are also known for their intellectual pursuits, with a Foreign Policy Group that meets regularly to debate current foreign policy issues, and an Odyssey program that brings distinguished speakers to Harbour Ridge to discuss a myriad of subjects. Finally, the Yacht Club allows members to meet and mingle with other boating enthusiasts, filled with day and evening cruises, annual fishing tournaments, and more.
